Throughout his professional career Bart has held executive positions in both profit and non- profit organisations, bringing a wealth of experience to his role as Treasurer on the Consumers International Executive and Council and his work with other international organisations including ICRT, BEUC, TACD and Consumentenbond’s Anne Fransen Fund, which helps consumer organisations in developing countries. Bart graduated as an economist at Erasmus University Rotterdam and was also a member of the City Council of Rotterdam from 1994-1998.
