In 1995, Doukoua was the founding President of the Ivorian Consumers Association. In 1997, he founded the National Federation of Consumers Associations (FAC) Ivory Coast with five other consumer organisations. Since 2013, he has been Chairman of the Board of the Confederation of Consumer Organisations of the Ivory Coast. He is a member of the Executive Committee for the African Union of Consumers which was recently established at the Pan-African Forum on Consumer Protection in Chad this year. Doukoua is an advisor to the National Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
