Following a career that has spanned both environmental and consumer leadership – National Chairman of the “Consumer Initiative” and National Manager Director of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) in Germany, Gerd then took up the role of Head of the Environmental and Social Policies Division at the Otto Group. After almost seven years as the Executive Director of the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband) he now works for the German government on Consumer Protection and rights.
