Since joining the OECD in 2001, Michael’s work has focused on privacy, consumer protection, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and related Internet policy issues. He led a successful effort to revise the OECD Privacy Guidelines in 2013. Before joining the OECD, Michael served as an attorney at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and in private practice. His educational background is in law and philosophy.
